Cameron Man Charged After Bear Mace Allegedly Used In Assault

KAWARTHA LAKES-A local resident faces numerous charges after Kawartha Lakes OPP respond to a disturbance near Kirkflied.

Police say on April 10, 2021 officers were called to an area on Antiquary Road in relation to an assault in which there was an allegation of the use of bear mace.

After investigation, Kaleb Harlow-McGrath, 21 years of age, of Cameron, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code related offences:

  • Two counts of assault with a weapon
  • Two counts of administer noxious thing with intent – endanger life or cause bodily harm

The accused party is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on May 27, 2021.
