Fenelon Falls Man Charged For the Second Time In Two Days

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Fenelon Falls resident is facing charges for the second time in as many days.

Police say on March 29, 2021 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP were called to a Fenelon area residence in response to allegations of an assault. The suspect had fled the location prior to police arrival according to police.

The suspect was observed later in the day and was subsequently arrested. Tyler Meredith, 23 years of age, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Two counts of assault
  • Two counts of failure to comply with undertaking
  • Mischief, under $5 000

On March 28, 2021 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP attended a Fenelon Falls residence in response to a 911 call for assistance. Police say upon arrival on scene an investigation, which led to the arrest of one person, was initiated.

As a result Meredith was charged with the following offences:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Assault
  • Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm
