Multiple Criminal Charges Laid After 911 Call From Residence in Fenelon Falls

KAWARTHA LAKES-A local resident faces several Criminal Code related charges after Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a 911 call.

Police say on March 28, 2021 officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP attended a Fenelon Falls residence in response to a 911 call for assistance. Upon arrival on scene an investigation, which led to the arrest of one person, was initiated.

Tyler Meredith, 23 years of age, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Assault
  • Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm

The accused party is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on May 29, 2021.
