Shocked Coffee Lovers Witness Alleged Road Rage Incident At Tim Hortons On Highway 36 In Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Police were called to a reported road rage incident at the Tim Hortons on Highway 36 in Lindsay this morning.

Jenn K was in line at the time and says it turned into a derby match and police were called.

Witnesses say it was very busy and the drive-thru line was out to the road. One truck allegedly tried to bypass the line in order to go inside rather than wait. When he tried to get out of the line, he was blocked in. Witnesses report one driver got out of his truck and yelled at the other person to move their vehicle but he wouldn’t move. “The driver got back in his truck, threw it in gear and hammered on the gas to push him out of the way,” states the witness.

‘”It was terrifying actually.” Jenn K told Kawartha 411 News. “I was still shaking when I got home and my vehicle was out of harms way.”

This story has been updated with comments from a witness.

We have reached out to police for more information but have not yet heard back.
