ROPE Squad Looking For Federal Offender Known To Frequent Peterborough Area

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of his breach of statutory release.

Anthony Sears is described as Indigenous male, 32 years of age, 5’10” (178cm), 190 lbs. (98kgs) with black hair and blue eyes.  He has several tattoos covering his entire body, which include the word “GOOBER” and a star on his neck; the word “CHLOE” and a rose on his left hand and the image of a money bag on his right hand.  He also has  the phrase “STEEL CITY” on his abdomen and tattoos in the area of his left eye.

Police say he is currently serving a five (5) year and six (6) month sentence for Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Death, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm and Possession of a Narcotic.

The offender is known to frequent the cities Peterborough, Brantford and Hamilton.
