KAWARTHA LAKES-A barn has been destroyed by fire on Eldon Station Road near Woodville.
The call came in to Kawartha Lakes Fire And Rescue at approximately 2:30 this afternoon. Officials say the fire started as a grass fire and wind blew the fire into the old collapsed barn. The fire also extended to a driving shed to the north of the old barn.
District Fire Chief Dave Kish told Kawartha 411 News the fire is now under control and no animals are involved. Â Four stations respond for water support and available manpower. Salvage operations are now underway.
