Seven New Cases Of Coronavirus Reported In Kawartha Lakes With A Third Person Hospitalized

KAWARTHA LAKES-The Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting seven new cases of Coronavirus in the City of Kawartha Lakes over the last two days.

There are now 31 active cases of the virus in Kawartha Lakes with the Health Unit tracking 58 high risk contacts. There has been 272 confirmed cases since the pandemic began. 32 people have died.

There has been one additional hospitalization as well bringing the total number hospitalized to date to 16. There is currently three people in Ross Memorial Hospital with Coronavirus, one is on a ventilator according to hospital officials.
