Fenelon Township man charged with impaired driving

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Fenelon Township man has been charged with impaired driving.

Police say on February 7th officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP received a traffic complaint related to a vehicle being operated by a driver that was potentially impaired.

An OPP officer located the vehicle on Highway 35, near Peniel Road and the ensuing investigation led to the arrest of the driver. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Robert Ingram, 44 years of age, of Fenelon Township, was charged with operation impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), contrary to the Criminal Code.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on March 12, 2020.
