KAWARTHA LAKES-Love was in the air at this years Santa Day Parade in Fenelon Falls. Spencer Herukens spent a year planning his big proposal. He and Kasey Cardoni had met and fell in love in Fenelon Falls and they volunteered for years at the Santa Day Parade. So Spencer figured there was no better place to surprise the love of his life by asking her to marry him than during the parade. But did she say yes?
Spencer was dressed as Kristoff and Kasey as Anna from the movie Frozen. In real life Kasey is a third year nursing student at Trent University and Spencer is a welder/fitter at McClosky International.
