Kawartha Lakes woman asking residents to send cards to her “lonely” grandma for her 100th Christmas

KAWARTHA LAKES-Lianne Barley has one simple Christmas Wish for her grandmother. She says her Grandma or Nanny as they lovingly call her is very lonely and she is asking for a Christmas miracle from local residents.

In a facebook post Barley says her grandmother, who will be celebrating her 100th Christmas is “lonely” because her family is not close by in Toronto but she has fantastic eyesight and loves to get cards and mail.

“I would so love it if you could add her to your Christmas card mailing list this year. 100 Christmases is pretty amazing!!”

Cards can be sent to:
Mrs. Eleanor Murphy, 520 Markham rd., Apt. 512, Scarborough, On M1H 3A1

“You have no idea how much joy this would bring her. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all of you!” says Barley.
