Lindsay man charged after allegedly being caught rummaging through vehicles

KAWARTHA LAKES-A Lindsay man is facing charges after allegedly being caught rummaging through vehicles on Angeline St. N in Lindsay.

Police say on November 14th at 11:10pm, Kawartha Lakes Police Service received a call for a suspicious male in the area of Angeline St N in Lindsay who was believed to be going through vehicles.

Upon arrival police identified the male as wanted for similar offences and arrested him.  He was transported to the station where he was held for a Bail Hearing.

Charged with 3 Counts of Use stolen Credit Card, Possession of Stolen Property and 5 counts of Breach of Probation is Raymond Smoke of Pottinger Street in Lindsay.

Kawartha Lakes Police is reminding residents to always lock your vehicle and not to leave anything of value in your vehicle such as wallet, credit cards and electronics
