KAWARTHA LAKES-A ten year old Lindsay boy is raising money for men’s health.
Ian Seeley is sporting a different moustache every day to raise money for prostate and testicular cancer as well as men’s mental health.
” I’m trying to raise awareness about prostate cancer and mental health issues for men” ” my goal is to raise $1000. Last time I raised $880.” Ian told Kawartha 411.
This is the second year the student has raised money for the cause and his parents say they couldn’t be more proud.
Movember began in 2003 in Sydney Australia. It is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, anxiety and suicide.
