OPP looking for vehicle allegedly involved in hit and run in Coboconk

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes OPP are looking for a vehicle in relation to an alleged hit and run in Coboconk.

Police say on October 31, 2019 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 35 just south of the traffic lights at Kawartha Lakes Road 48, in Coboconk.

Investigation revealed that the unknown driver struck a vehicle and then left the scene, northbound on Highway 35.

Investigators are actively looking for a black, midsize, late 90’s to early 2000’s pickup truck. It is possible that the vehicle in a Nissan Frontier or Toyota Tacoma. It is a regular cab, long box with a black fiberglass cap on the back and will have extensive damage to the passenger side of the box.
