Police looking for suspects after unique bear carving stolen

NORTH KAWARTHA-Peterborough County OPP is looking for suspects after a theft from the Woody’s Uniquely North K Store on Burleigh Street in Apsley.

Police say the theft occurred on July 31, 2019 at approximately 8:25pm. The suspect(s) stole a bear chainsaw carving from the front entrance to the store. Two male suspects were caught on video surveillance.

The value of the theft is estimated at $500 and investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to the identity of the suspects in this case.
