KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes Fire and Rescue were called to Cameron Lake off of Garnet Graham Beach Bark in Fenelon Falls on Saturday night after a boat sank.
The call came in around 8:00 pm. District Chief Dave Kish says 6 young adults were on board but all made it to shore safely. They were located by fire crews about an hour after the call. No one was injured.
Kish says the boat hit a wave and started taking on water. The tip of the vessel remains visible Sunday morning.
The OPP was also called and is investigating.
