Vintage car goes up in flames near Omemee

KAWARTHA LAKES-A vintage Porsche went up in flames this evening at the corner of Highway 7 at Emily Park Road.

It happened just after 7pm. Witnesses told Kawartha 411 the owner and bystanders tried to snuff out flames coming from the trunk with blankets. Deputy Fire Chief Ron Raymer told Kawartha 411 they aren’t sure if anyone was injured.

There’s no word on the cause of the fire or the dollar value of the loss.
