KAWARTHA LAKES-Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement Kawartha Lakes for tonight warning of heavy rainfall.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop this evening and then sweep across the area late this evening and tonight. Locally heavy rainfall accumulations of 35 to 45 mm will be possible with these thunderstorms before they move out of the area late tonight.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas will be possible according to Environment Canada.
