Local farmers struggling with wet, cold conditions

KAWARTHA LAKES-The damp wet weather isn’t just an inconvenience. We could also see an increase in produce prices and shortages if the weather doesn’t improve soon.

Lunar Rhythm Gardens, a Certified Organic produce farm near Janetville says they are behind by about three weeks and have lost some crops. Others have given up entirely on this season and hundreds of acres are not being seeded.
