KAWARTHA LAKES-Members of the Peterborough County OPP stopped a vehicle on Tates Bay Road at approximately 8:00pm on June 6, 2019. Police say the male driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
64 year old Carl Harwood of Trent Lakes, Ontario was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus. The accused had his vehicle impounded and driver’s licence suspended.
The Peterborough County OPP is reminding motorists to plan ahead when consuming alcohol. Use a designated driver, cab, public transit, or stay overnight.
