Crack cocaine and cash seized in investigation involving OPP and Peterborough Police

PETERBOROUGH-An investigation led by the OPP Peterborough Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) has resulted in one male being arrested and charged with drug offences. On April 24, 2019 at approximately 11:00am, the Central Region Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) and the Peterborough Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit stopped a vehicle on Buckhorn Road at the 8th Line of Smith in Selwyn Township where the male was arrested. Officers allegedly seized crack cocaine and cash. A Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant in relation to the traffic stop was also executed on Hunter Street East in Peterborough, Ontario.

Ikeba FRASER (age 24) of Toronto, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000-in Canada
