Pickering man charged with impaired and stunt driving

PETERBOROUGH-A Pickering man is facing charges of stunt driving and impaired driving after being pulled over by police.

Members of the Peterborough County OPP stopped a vehicle for allegedly speeding at approximately 11:00pm on April 17, 2019. Police say the vehicle was travelling at 152 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone. The male driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol according to police.

Bryan PEATTIE (age 24) of Pickering, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus
  • Stunt driving in relation to excessive speed

The accused had his vehicle impounded and driver’s licence suspended.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on May 16, 2019.
