Crash in Lindsay leads to charges for local man

KAWARTHA LAKES-A 24 year old man is facing charges after a crash in Lindsay.

Police say on April 14th officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 7 near Angeline Street. Investigation at the site of the single vehicle collision resulted in the arrest of the driver, a 24 year old local male.

David Whitely is charged with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration, 80 plus and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on May 30, 2019.
