Guns, ammunition and a crossbow stolen from home near Fenelon Falls

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is currently investigating a residential break and enter in which numerous items, including firearms, were allegedly stolen.

Police say on April 10th an officers were called to a residence just outside of the Fenelon Falls area when, having returned home, the owner noted damage done to the front door and contacted police. The OPP’s Forensic Identification Unit (FIS) were brought in to assist with the investigation.

Numerous items were stolen from the residence, including the following:

Excalibur Phoenix crossbow with scope and quiver

  • Sony Bravia 60 inch television
  • Jewelry, including several rings and a Man’s Timex wrist watch
  • 2 Nikon camera lenses
  • Gun safe with contents, including ammunition, several shot guns, and rifles

Anyone with information is asked to call City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
