OPP respond to reports of handgun being brandished

KAWARTHA LAKES-Two Toronto area men are facing charges after officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP received a call indicating that a handgun, or pellet gun, was being waved from the passenger window of a vehicle.

Police received the call on April 6th. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the Coboconk area and the ensuring investigation led to the arrest of two male parties. Two pellet guns were seized.

Adam Cocco, 23 years of age, of Toronto was charged with Mischief, contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on May 9, 2019.

Torin Hills, 21 years of age, of Scarborough, was charged with Mischief, contrary to the Criminal Code and failing to wear a seat belt, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on May 9, 2019.
