City looking for Youth Environmental Heroes

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes is looking for students with a passion for helping the environment.

Showcase a project that you have completed in the current school year (2018/2019) that addresses an issue related to the environment and you could win the Environmental Hero Youth Award.

Winners will receive a special plaque, a free pizza party for their class and a native species tree to plant on your school’s property.

Applications are now open! The deadline to apply is May 15, 2019. Visit the  Environment page for more information.
