Kawartha Lakes OPP investigating reported vehicle theft

KAWARTHA LAKES-City of Kawartha Lakes OPP is investigating an alleged vehicle theft from a residential driveway.

On July 24th officers were advised of a vehicle abandoned in a ditch on Victoria Road near Alvar Road. The vehicle, a 2007 Pontiac G6 convertible, white in colour had minor damage to the front right corner and bumper area and the rear bumper was detached from the vehicle.

The ensuing investigation revealed that the vehicle was allegedly taken from a residential driveway sometime overnight. The investigating officer, P/C Stultiens, is seeking the publics’ assistance with determining who was last operating the vehicle.

Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to www.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
