KAWARTHA LAKES-Firefighters from Dunsford, Ops, and Emily were called to the scene of a barn fire on Pleasant Point Road this evening.
The call came in at approximately 8:30pm. Witnesses say firefighters focused most of their resources on the interior of the barn and the fire was considered under control within minutes of arriving. One person was taken to hospital. There’s no word on the extent of injuries.
Ops and Dunsford firefighters have since cleared the scene.
