Two Oshawa residents charged after police find abandoned vehicle south of Lindsay

KAWARTHA LAKES-Two people from Oshawa are facing a number of charges after police responded to a traffic compalint on Thursday morning.

Kawartha Lakes OPP say they got the call at approximately 8:45 am about a vehicle travelling Northbound on Highway 35 toward Lindsay.

With the assistance of witnesses the vehicle in question was located, abandoned, a short time later behind a business just south of Lindsay. The driver and passenger were located in a nearby business.

36 year old Troy MacIsaac of Oshawa is charged with,Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle,Flight While Pursued by Peace Officer,Driving While Ability Impaired by Drug,Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 ,Fail to Comply with Recognizance, Possess of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine, Driving While Under Suspension

43 year old Quinta Service of Oshawa is facing a charge of Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
