Victim identified in fatal crash north of Bobcaygeon

KAWARTHA LAKES-Kawartha Lakes OPP have identified the victim of a crash north of Bobcaygeon on Saturday.

60 year old Betty, also known as Melody Rendon of Kinmount was killed when her vehicle crashed on Highway 49 just before 5pm. No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

Kawartha Lakes Road 49 was closed between Anderson Line and Irwin’s Road for several hours for investigation. The OPP’s Technical Collision Investigations Unit is assisting in the investigation.

There’s no word on what caused the crash.
