KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP Street Crime Unit and the Kawartha Lakes Police Service worked together on a recent investigation involving drug trafficking.
On Thursday September 21 at approximately 12:30 pm a joint team of officers stopped a vehicle on Demoe Road to further an on-going investigation.
Two people have been arrested and charged.
28 year old Samuel Ribeiro of no-fixed address is charged with Traffick in Schedule I Substance Cocaine, Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
39 year old Adam Hall of Lindsay is facing charges of Traffick in Schedule I Substance – Cocaine,Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine,Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Heroin, Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Hydromorphone and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
