Peterborough County OPP are on the scene of a serious motorcycle crash in the Village of Havelock.
It happened shorty after 7pm. Police say a motorcycle was travelling westbound on Highway 7, when it was struck by a vehicle turning into Tim Hortons in the Village of Havelock. The 55 year old motorcycle rider, from Cavan-Monaghan Township, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a Toronto area hospital for treatment. No one else was injured in the crash.
Highway 7 currently has limited access within the Village of Havelock while members trained in Collision Reconstruction measure and document the scene. The Highway 7 lane restrictions will remain in place for several hours while police investigate.
