PETERBOROUGH – A vehicle take down in a parking lot on Lansdowne Street West has resulted in charges for two men.
Police say during a subsequent search of the vehicle officers found illegal narcotics and knife that could be opened using centrifugal force. Folder knives that can be opened in this way are illegal in Canada.
47 year old Steven Twomey of Redwood Drive in Peterborough has been charged with possession of cocaine.
20 year old Juirey Walker-Hinds of Scarborough is facing charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and unauthorized possession of a weapon.
