11 Year old Lindsay boy calls 911 as grandmother is being assaulted

An 11 year old boy called 911 as he witnessed his grandmother being assaulted according to police.

When Kawartha Lakes Police officers arrived on scene at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 27th they learned that the accused woman had gotten into a dispute with the victim, her mother, over a bank card. The dispute became physical and that caused the 11-year-old to fear for the safety of his Grandmother, so he  called 911.

A 33-year-old Lindsay woman was arrested and charged with Robbery. She was held in custody pending a bail hearing. The identity of the woman is not being released to protect the privacy of the victim.
