Driver charged in alleged hit and run in Fenelon Falls

CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES- The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP have charged the 58 year old driver of a vehicle that reportedly failed to remain at the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Fenelon Falls.

On Wednesday May 17, 2017 officers responded to a collision that occurred at approximately 2:45pm in Fenelon Falls. A 16 year old pedestrian was allegedly struck by a vehicle turning from Helen Street to Lindsay Street and was injured.

Police say the driver of the vehicle which was a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer, grey in colour, did not remain at the collision and were asking for the public’s help in locating him.

On May 30th police report the driver of the vehicle 58 year old Terrence Sneddon of Fenelon Falls has been located and charged with Fail to Remain, fail to Report Accident,Fail to Yield to Pedestrian and fail to Notify Change of Address.
