Peterborough Police investigating three break and enters

Thousands of dollars in property was stolen from a home on Argyle Street in Peterborough on Monday.

Police say sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. on May 23, 2017 unknown person(s) broke into an Argyle Street home through a locked door. Once inside the thieves stole cash, an iPad mini and an assortment of jewellery.

Sometime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. that same day someone broke into a Princess Street home through an unlocked door. Items stolen during the break-in include bottles of liquor, two tablets, jewellery, clothes and shoes.

No one was home at the time of either of these incidents.

Police say a commercial business on Crawford Drive was also broken into sometime between 5 p.m. on May 20, 2017 and 4 p.m. on May 22, entering through a locked door. It was reported that vehicles located on the property and the building itself had been entered and property including a number of tools were stolen.

Police are reminding and encouraging residents to always report any suspicious persons or activity in your neighbourhood to us.
