Volunteers gather to pull invasive plant found in Nogies Creek area

Approximately 30 people volunteered a few hours of their time Saturday afternoon to help pull Garlic Mustard from an area near Nogies Creek. The Garlic Mustard Pull was organized by Kawartha Conservation.

Garlic Mustard in as invasive herb native to Europe. It was brought to Canada in the 1800’s and has become one of ontario’s most aggressive forest invaders.
