The Trent Severn Waterway officials are warning that there are two large trees lodged in the Kinmount Dam.

Debris is collecting around the trees, causing increased water levels. Crews are working to remove the trees, however, high water levels are complicating the removal.

Residents and business owners near the dam are advised to prepare for possible flooding. The water levels are expected to recede as the trees are removed.

The closest location for sandbags and supplies is the Burnt River Public Works depot at 90 County Road #44.
