Youths charged after soccer field damaged

Peterborough County OPP were called to Rhema Christian School shortly after midnight after the soccer field was damaged.

A tow truck operator alerted police when he discovered the vehicle stuck in the mud on the soccer field. The 17-year-old female driver, of Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, was charged with Mischief to Property under $5000. While the passenger, a 16-year-old male from Peterborough, ON, was charged with Trespassing – Engaging in a Prohibited Activity.
