Fall crime spree leads to charges for two Lindsay residents

KAWARTHA LAKES-The City of Kawartha Lakes OPP Street Crime Unit has charged two Lindsay residents after a crime spree in the fall.

Police say a number of business properties in the Lindsay area reported overnight break and enters in October and November. As a result of an investigation 37 year old Alexander Kunig and 35 year old Kristal Keeping both from Lindsay were arrested and charged on December 2, 2017 with the following offences:

Possession of Break In Instruments contrary to section 351(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) CCC (two counts)
Alexander KUNIG is also charged with an additional 11 counts of Break, Enter and Theft contrary to section 348(1)(b) CCC.
