Neil Young rocks Omemee

KAWARTHA LAKES-The town of Omemee was rocking tonight as hometown icon Neil Young returned to his roots for an exclusive show. Young spent some of his formative years in Omemee and his father lived there until his death. His brother Bob is still a resident. The show coincides with the release of his latest album The Visitor.  Fans took to the streets and the normally sleepy little town came alive. Ennismore’s Karen Towns didn’t have tickets but thought she would come watch the show outside for her birthday. However she got a surprise when she and her husband were escorted in to the venue.
