51 year old charged after police receive complaints about erratic driving

DURHAM REGION-Durham Regional Police have made an arrest after receiving numerous complaints about erratic driving in Orono.

Police say their investigation revealed on two separate occasions between October and November, the suspect was driving in his pick-up truck in a reckless manner causing excessive noise and causing his tires to spin causing rubber tire tracks on the roadway while pedestrians were in close proximity.

The alleged driver was later identified and arrested.

51 year old Bradley Stapleton of Station Street in Orono is charged with; Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle x2 and Mischief Endangering Life.

Police are looking for any witnesses that may have additional information to contact Sgt. Caplan of East Division at 905-579-1520 x1620.
