Teen charged in alleged violent home invasion in Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH-A Peterborough teen has been arrested and charged following a robbery at a Chamberlain Street home.

At approximately 1:10 a.m. on August 29th police responded to a call for service regarding a robbery at a residence on Chamberlain Street. It was reported that during the incident a male had brandished a knife and a violent altercation took place.

Police say it appears this was a targeted incident.

The victim, a male in his 30’s, was taken to a local hospital for treatment to his injuries and released.

19 year old Christian Emerson Cripps of no fixed address, Peterborough, was arrested and charged with Robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
