Two vehicle crash closes one lane of Highway 7

KAWARTHA LAKES- Police fire and ambulance were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash on Highway 7 Friday afternoon. One driver has been charged with Unsafe Move- Lane or Shoulder. On person was taken to hospital with minor injuries. 

It happened at approximately 4:30pm. A car and a truck collided at the corner of Highway 7 and Angeline Street in Lindsay. Both vehicles were heavily damaged.

At least one person was put on a stretcher and taken away by ambulance. Theres no word on the cause of the crash. No names were released.

The OPP had one lane of traffic blocked off but the road has since re-opened.
