It’s time to Unlock the Summer in Bobcaygeon

KAWARTHA LAKES-It’s officially time to Unlock the Summer this weekend in Bobcaygeon and there’s a full schedule of events happening on Saturday and Sunday.

Staring at 11 am Saturday morning (June 10th)there will be drumming with the Curve Lake Drum Group at Lock 32. Activities including face fainting for the kids, live blues all day long downtown and caricatures by Willow Boutique Patio. The doors will be open at Kawartha Settlers Village, Boyd Museum, Pigeon lake Yacht club and more.

The Bigleys Walk For the Cause is Saturday morning with all proceeds going to Kawartha North Family Health Teams walk in clinics in Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls. These clinics are funded completely by donations and need our support to stay open. Registration starts at 9am.

The highlight of the day will be the legendary Downchild Blues Band at the Bobcaygeon Community Centre. Doors open at 6:30pm.  Tickets are only $30 in advance, $40 at the door.
